Stop feeling guilty for doing what you love

Ditch the ‘should’ and follow your passion Do you feel guilty when you spend time doing something that makes you happy? It might sound like a strange question, but think about it. Maybe you know what I’m talking about. Is there some activity that you’d love to be doing more of, but it feels too […]

beyond the bottom of a bottle to find a bottom line

Do you count the hours until ‘wine o’clock’? Do you secretly wonder about your drinking habits? I gave up alcohol for 30 days and gained so much.

About Me

Eilidh Horder and Suki the cat on shoulder B&W

Hi! I'm Eilidh, a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser, lucky enough to spend lots of time with my two children (who, incidentally, have superpowers), two cats, Fido the Romanian rescue dog, and our new additions, three little rats.

The aim of this emotional and mental health blog is to share my experiences and reach out to others who might relate - a little reminder that we are not alone 🥰

Let’s talk about finding deeper meaning, peace, acceptance and self-knowledge. Love is all!

Turn down the white noise and find your own song!

Even the graffiti in the toilets makes me smile! Even the graffiti in the toilets makes me smile!

Even better than:
If you sprinkle
While you tinkle
Be a sweetie
Wipe the seatie!

Amazing memories of fun and learning at Hastings M Amazing memories of fun and learning at Hastings Museum for the What’s in the Box project.
We met @Jazmine_miles_long – an Ethical Taxidermist, Artist, Educator and Natural History Restorer who, among other things, showed us how to create ‘fur’ from Japanese tissue paper.
Thank you to the @Hastings_museum team and the Arts Council @ace_national @ace_southeast.

👈 Oh for hindsight! 👈 If only we knew then 👈 Oh for hindsight! 👈

If only we knew then what we know now!

I'm preparing a piece for my blog which has gone a bit quiet (been juggling 'home-schooling', looking for work, doing the work, moving to a new country during a pandemic & living in an (rather awesome & perfect location) AirB&B, all the usual stuff 🤣).

💙 I miss my blog so maybe you could help me out by answering one question - and I'll use your answers in the next piece! 💙

🤔 If you were to meet your younger self... and could give one piece of advice... what would it be? 🤔

👇 Answers in the comments 👇please (I'll go first)... ✨✨✨
